Debbie Castagna

Debbie began her career as a registered dental assistant, followed by teaching Dental Auxiliary Utilization at the University of the Pacific. She began her consulting and speaking career in 1990. She is the founder of Castagna Coaching, a company that provides consulting and coaching services of significance to her clients. She also publishes practical, results-oriented dental practice management training materials, and co-authored THE DOCTOR AS CEO and THE ULTIMATE STAFF.

Debbie founded The Indispensable Consultant, a training program for new consultants who are looking for mentorship and help in building their own consulting businesses. More experienced consultants who want to add to their service mix have also benefited by her coaching.

As a speaker, Debbie’s passion and commitment to her work is evident. She has been a featured presenter at, among others, the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, FDI World Congress, Thomas P Hinman, Chicago Midwinter and Greater New York Meetings, as well as many other state and local organizations and groups.

Debbie has authored numerous articles for industry publications, including Dental Economics, Dental Tribune International, Dental Products Report, and the California Dental Association Journal. Dentistry Today has recognized her each year since 2005 as a “Leader in Consulting”. She is also Past President of The Academy of Dental Management Consultants and a proud recipient of ADMC’s prestigious Charles Kidd Spirit Award. She is also a member of the National Speakers Association, the Speaking Consulting Network and American Association of Dental Office Managers.
